I'm imagining that later back at police headquarters the watch commander
is chewing these guards out and saying things like:
"Did you skip class at the academy the day when the topic of
cornering and escaping subject at an intersection was covered?
That's the only logical explanation why with four people you
didn't also cover the north and south."
